How to register as a THOA Presenter
Please read all 6 steps below about the process of submitting a THOA proposal.

Step 1: Choose your Topic and Abstract
During the submission process, you will be asked to enter a title and a short abstract of your session.  This is the most critical part of the process.  You want your title to be catchy and your abstract engaging.  This will be what attendees will see in the program and decide if they want to attend your session.

Step 2: Short Bio
Have your short bio ready to type or paste into the biographical box.  Please DO NOT upload your bio or your attendees will not see it in the online agenda or the conference app.

Step 3: Headshot
Have your headshot ready to upload during the process. The headshot must be a PNG or JPEG file; the system will not accept PDFs.

Step 4: Submit the Proposal and Choose Your Presentation Type
If you have all the above ready, please click on the link to "Submit New Proposal" and submit your proposal by the deadline date.  Make sure to select the correct presentation type and answer all questions during the process, or your proposal will be in pending status in the system, and it will not be reviewed.  You will receive an immediate response once you submit it correctly, so please check your spam folder.   This response will have a link and code for you to get back into the system to edit your proposal.  Make sure to keep this information handy.

Step 5:   Make a Presentation
Once your submission has been reviewed, you will receive an acceptance letter.  Once you receive your letter, please work on the presentation via Google Slides, PowerPoint, etc.  You will upload your presentation any time before the day of your presentation.   This will be how our attendees will gain access to your presentation.  You don’t have to bring handouts unless you want to incur the expense of making 50 copies of your presentation.

Step 6:   Approve the Agenda and Check Your Inbox and Spam Folder Regularly
Shortly after the April 20th deadline, the tentative agenda will be sent to you via email from our system.  Please check your inbox and spam folder daily for important emails leading up to the conference.   Please approve the date and time of your session.  If there is a conflict, please let me know ASAP.
